Today, the provincial government held a symposium to listen to academicians, experts, and entrepreneurs’ comments on the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Hunan Province and the Outline of Vision Goals for 2035 (Draft for Comment)" and the 2021 Opinions and suggestions of the Government Work Report (Draft for Soliciting Comments). Mao Weiming, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Acting Governor, presided over and delivered a speech.

Focusing on the construction of a strong province by science and education, agricultural and rural development, industrial ecological cultivation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, increasing residents’ income, and integrated circuit development, Gui Weihua, Yin Yulong, Zheng Jianlong, Cao Puhua, Yang Shenggang, Zhan Chunxin, Wang Guoqiu, Peng Jianwu, Academicians, experts, and entrepreneur representatives such as Ling Yunjian actively made suggestions, suggestions, and suggestions.

Mao Weiming pointed out that the provincial party committee's proposal of vigorously implementing the "three highs and four new" strategy and striving to build a modern new Hunan is a concrete action and practical measure to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech in Hunan. It is hoped that the majority of academicians, experts and entrepreneurs will focus on the strategy of "three highs and four new" to carry out targeted tackling, and strive to conquer core technologies such as global leading, independent and controllable, import substitution, and filling gaps, and seize the commanding heights of industry, technology, and talents. Focusing on the strategy of “three highs and four new” to find out the development positioning, do something and fail to do something, focus on tackling key problems and breakthroughs, marching to the front, cutting-edge, and high-end, marching to the high-end and high-value-added value chain, and leading domestic and international First-class march.
